What personal data do we process?

When you visit our online store or place an order, we may process the following personal data:

• Order information: your name, address, email address, telephone number and the products you have ordered.

• Payment information: your payment method and transaction status. We do not store credit card or bank account details ourselves; payments are processed by our payment service providers.

• Account information: if you create an account, we process your login details and order history.

• Newsletter information: your email address, but only after you have subscribed.

• Customer service information: the content of messages you send to us.

• Technical information: your IP address, browser type, device information and browsing behaviour on our website through the use of cookies, as explained below.

Who do we share your data with?

We never sell your personal data. We only share it with parties whose services are necessary for operating our business and providing our services. Where required, we have appropriate data processing agreements in place with these parties.

These parties include:

• Shopify: the platform and hosting provider for our online store.

• Shopify Payments and Mollie: for processing payments.

• PostNL: for delivering your order.

• Shopify and Klaviyo: for newsletters and email marketing.

Some of these parties, including Shopify, may process personal data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, personal data is transferred on the basis of appropriate safeguards, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention periods

We do not retain your personal data for longer than necessary.

Order and transaction information is retained for seven years to comply with our statutory tax and accounting obligations. Newsletter information is retained until you unsubscribe. Account information is retained for as long as your account remains active.

Cookies

Our online store uses functional cookies that are necessary for features such as your shopping cart and checkout.

We also use analytical and marketing cookies, but only with your consent where consent is required. You can manage your preferences through the cookie banner and delete cookies through your browser settings.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data.

• Request the deletion of your personal data.

• Request the transfer of your personal data.

• Object to certain processing activities.

If you are dissatisfied with how we process your personal data, you have the right to submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. These measures include using an encrypted TLS/SSL connection throughout our online store.

Our relationship with Shopify

Our online store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify collects and processes personal data relating to your use of our online store to provide and improve its services.

We also use certain enhanced Shopify features, including fraud prevention and personalised advertising. For these features, Shopify may combine information about your interactions with our store with information from your interactions with other Shopify stores.

For these specific processing activities, Shopify acts as an independent data controller and is responsible for handling requests concerning your data protection rights. More information is available in Shopify’s Consumer Privacy Policy.

Our online store may contain links to third-party websites, including our social media channels. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or privacy policies of these external websites. Please review their respective privacy statements for more information.

Children’s data

Our online store is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 16.

If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at info@get-untied.nl so that we can delete it.

Welke gegevens verwerken wij?

Wanneer je onze webshop bezoekt of een bestelling plaatst, kunnen wij de volgende gegevens verwerken:

• Bestelgegevens: naam, adres, e-mailadres, telefoonnummer, bestelde producten
• Betaalgegevens: betaalmethode en transactiestatus (wij slaan zelf géén creditcard- of bankgegevens op; betalingen verlopen via onze betaalproviders)
• Accountgegevens: als je een account aanmaakt — inloggegevens en bestelhistorie
• Nieuwsbriefgegevens: e-mailadres, alleen na jouw aanmelding
• Klantenservicegegevens: inhoud van je berichten aan ons
• Technische gegevens: IP-adres, browsertype, apparaatgegevens en surfgedrag op onze site (via cookies, zie hieronder)

Met wie delen wij gegevens?

Wij verkopen je gegevens nooit. Wij delen ze alleen met partijen die nodig zijn om onze diensten te leveren, op basis van verwerkersovereenkomsten:

• Shopify platform en hosting van onze webshop
• Betaalproviders Shopify Payments, Mollie voor de afhandeling van betalingen
• PostNL voor de bezorging van je bestelling
• E-mailmarketingdienst Shopify en Klavyo voor de nieuwsbrief

Sommige van deze partijen (zoals Shopify) verwerken gegevens buiten de EER. In dat geval gebeurt dit op basis van passende waarborgen, zoals het EU-VS Data Privacy Framework of standaardcontractbepalingen van de Europese Commissie.

Bewaartermijnen

Wij bewaren je gegevens niet langer dan nodig. Ordergegevens bewaren wij 7 jaar in verband met de fiscale bewaarplicht. Nieuwsbriefgegevens bewaren wij tot je je uitschrijft. Accountgegevens bewaren wij zolang je account actief is.

Cookies

Onze webshop gebruikt functionele cookies (noodzakelijk voor o.a. je winkelwagen en checkout) en — alleen met jouw toestemming — analytische en marketingcookies. Je kunt je voorkeuren aanpassen via de cookiebanner en cookies verwijderen via je browserinstellingen.

Jouw rechten

Je hebt het recht op inzage, rectificatie, verwijdering en overdraagbaarheid van je gegevens, en het recht om bezwaar te maken tegen verwerking of je toestemming in te trekken. Mail hiervoor naar info@get-untied.nl; wij reageren binnen één maand.

Ben je het niet eens met hoe wij met je gegevens omgaan, dan kun je een klacht indienen bij de Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

Beveiliging

Wij nemen passende technische en organisatorische maatregelen om je gegevens te beschermen, waaronder een versleutelde verbinding (TLS/SSL) op de hele webshop.

Relatie met Shopify

Onze webshop wordt gehost door Shopify. Shopify verzamelt en verwerkt persoonsgegevens over jouw gebruik van de webshop om die aan jou te kunnen leveren en verbeteren. Daarnaast gebruiken wij bepaalde verbeterde Shopify-functies (zoals fraudepreventie en gepersonaliseerde advertenties) waarvoor Shopify gegevens uit jouw interacties met onze winkel combineert met die van andere webshops. Voor die specifieke verwerkingen is Shopify zelf verwerkingsverantwoordelijke, ook voor het afhandelen van verzoeken over jouw rechten. Links naar externe websites

Onze webshop kan links bevatten naar websites van derden (zoals onze social-mediakanalen). Wij zijn niet verantwoordelijk voor het privacybeleid van die websites; raadpleeg daarvoor hun eigen verklaringen.

Gegevens van minderjarigen

Onze webshop is niet gericht op kinderen en wij verzamelen niet bewust persoonsgegevens van personen onder de 16 jaar. Ben je ouder of voogd en heeft jouw kind ons persoonsgegevens verstrekt, neem dan contact op via info@get-untied.nl, dan verwijderen wij deze.
